ortc Clothing Co is a rapidly growing clothing and lifestyle brand based in Norwood, South Australia. We pride ourselves on creating high quality,
long-lasting fashion and lifestyle products for men, women and children. Over the past 6 years we have experienced rapid business growth, thus the need to expand our team once again. Operating and running a successful online store, upholding a wholesale presence across 300+ stores within Australia and New Zealand and having recently joined major retailers, the Iconic and Myer requires a well-oiled machine and right now we are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant in a casual capacity to work at our brand new flagship store opening on The Parade, Norwood in October 2022.
This opportunity is for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual, who demonstrates strong communication and sales skills and is eager to be part of a rapidly growing brand. You’ll be working alongside a young, yet driven and experienced team of retail and ecommerce enthusiasts and you will have the support of leading technology and management systems.
So, if this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. This is a casual position working between Monday – Friday and Weekends between the hours of 9am – 5:00pm.
Role Duties & Requirements: - Working with other members of the retail team to drive sales, nurture customers and manage the daily operations of the store
- Help manage in store retail operations including store presentation, visual merchandising, inventory management etc
- Provide outstanding, consistent and passionate customer service by always going above and beyond
- Work closely with head office to manage and maintain inventory levels
- Manage loss prevention
- Drive sales and work with other members of the team to achieve weekly, monthly and seasonal budgets, KPIs and goals
- Ensure immaculate visual merchandising and store presentation at all times
- Uphold company values and be an ambassador for the brand
- Problem solving and conflict resolution

Our warehouse is our business engine room. This opportunity is for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual who is eager to be part of a rapidly growing brand. You’ll be working alongside a young, yet driven and experienced team of retail and ecommerce enthusiasts and you will have the support of leading technology and management systems.
So, if this sounds like you and you can help us take our warehouse to the next level, we’d love to hear from you. This position will be a full time or permanent casual position working Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am – 4:00pm and previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
About the role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of the warehouse, ensuring all retail and wholesale orders are picked, packed and dispatched each day.
You will be a point of contact for the broader team when it comes to inventory management and stock control, and you will work with other warehouse staff to ensure all warehouse operations are achieved daily.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the delivery dock for all goods in & out, communicating with couriers and delivery driver
- Counting and receiving incoming stock and organising stock in cartons, this could include lifting 20kgs boxes.
- Unloading pallets from trucks and operating a walk behind forklift.
- Accurately cross-checking product orders against packing slips in high volume.
- Ensuring all goods are in assigned warehouse aisles.
- Replenishing stock levels to picking shelves
- Coordinating quarterly stock takes
- Assisting with picking and packing of retail and online orders
- Assisting with picking and packing wholesale orders.
- Handling returns and exchanges
- Communicate with management and buyers of low-level products for reordering
Requirements:
Ability to work on your feet all day and able to occasionally lift heavy cartons of up to 20kg’s
- Eager to work in a high paced environment
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and be a part of a small team
- Energetic and self-motivated
- Comprehensive computer and excel skills
- Forklift license (beneficial)
- Experience with warehousing duties preferable but not essential
